- There is probably no other method of self-treatment as effective as Reiki. Whenever you feel pain somewhere, or get into a bad state, when you are tired, worked up or simply scared, you will be able to calm yourself down immediately and relax with your Reiki energy, and use it to strengthen and harmonise yourself again.
- You can charge up your “battery of life” daily by giving Reiki to yourself. In this way, many illnesses will not be able to develop, and you will be spared much trouble. As a human being we all have our own share of faults and you will be made aware of these, so that you can think about them, and rectify them, which will then help your spiritual growth. Your spiritual growth will be furthered and your life will take on another quality with Reiki.
- Pregnant women enjoy Reiki treatment because it helps to alleviate some of the minor and major complaints of pregnancy.
- Infants appear to enjoy Reiki: the treatment energises the baby. It also is a special form of love that all babies thrive on.
- Those who are involved in gardening can treat plants. Also, seeds that are treated before being planted, tend to grow into healthier plants. Flowers and shrubs do very well when treated with Reiki.
- Animals are very appreciative of Reiki, and most often become very calm and relaxed while being treated.
- There are numerous other possibilities of giving Reiki to gemstones and jewellery, cars and vehicles, radios and TV, gifts and souvenirs, machinery, computers and office equipment and many others.

- You only channel as much Reiki as the person needs.
- Do not attach yourself to the results of the treatment.
