Reiki Hand Positions
Guidance:
- Always ask for the highest divine good
- Allow intuition to guide your hand placements or follow established guidelines
Energy Flow:
- Let the energy flow naturally; do not try to control it
- The energy will find its own path to heal where it's needed most

- Brain Integration: Left hand on forehead, right hand at the back of the neck
- Brain and Trauma Clearing: Palms on the head of the humerus
- Bones: Right hand at the back of the neck, left hand on the upper left arm
- Central Nervous System: Hands just below the knees
- Glands: Right hand on tailbone, sweep aura with left hand
- Heart: Right hand into the heel of the left hand, left hand on shoulders
- Kidneys: Hands on the back, over the kidneys
- Ligaments: Above the elbow on the right arm
- Lungs: Right hand on forehead, left hand at the back of the neck
- Lymph System: Right hand under left armpit, left hand on back of neck
- Muscles: Hands just below the calf muscles
- Ovaries: Inside lower leg below the knees (avoid if pregnant)
- Spleen: Right hand in right armpit, left hand near the solar plexus
Full Treatment Method
- Place hands gently over the eyes, fingers pointing down
- Hands on top front of head, fingers over temples
- Cradle the back of the head with hands at the base of the skull
- Hands around jaws, fingers touching
- Thumbs on collarbones, fingers pointing towards the chest
Additional Tips:
Try to cover all major organs, front and back. Keep hands in position for at least five minutes, or as guided. Work in the way that feels right for you. This is not a fixed system. Experiment! Everything moves... stay adaptable.
